Identity

God has been reminding me that my identity is found in him alone.  My identity is not in my politics, race, religion, but God alone.  My identity is not if I am married or single but it is in Christ alone.  When our identity is found in Christ alone,  he can unite us from all different types of political backgrounds and beliefs.  Also, we can trust who God says he is even in waiting for his provision in our life.  As Christians,  our new identity is that we are new creatures in Christ.  It says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come and the old has gone." So, let us live in our new identity in Christ today.
